There were some ups and downs during this whole process and she was right there to reassure me anytime something was amiss. Her knowledge of real estate is endless. Any question I had she was right there with an answer. It's nice to know a realtor who really cares about her profession and the well being of her clients. She really made this whole process go very smoothly as opposed to some horror stories others have gone through with other agents. One of the very first things that Kristi said to us was something along the lines of "I am here to answer all your questions and guide you through this process." And she did. Kristi was recommended to us through an incentive program at our credit union. We had walked into an open house on a whim and fell in love with the home and wanted to buy it. We were completely uneducated and unprepared (having never bought a home before), and Kristi patiently explained and re-explained things to us at every step. She never made us feel that our questions were "stupid," and we always felt completely comfortable reaching out to her when there was something -- anything -- we didn't understand. She always got back to us quickly and with a thorough and understandable explanation. We were constantly appreciative and impressed by her professionalism and by how seriously she obviously took her role as answerer-of-questions and guide. As far as business matters were concerned, we were equally impressed. The idea of negotiating a price was daunting to us, so we simply followed her advice and let her take action on our behalf (she kept us completely informed, and she constantly checked in with us to see how we felt about every move). It was clear from very early on that Kristi was negotiating with our best interests in mind. We eventually landed on a sale price that seemed extremely fair to us, under the listing price. Later on, our home sale turned out to have many complications. Most prominent among them was that some minor-yet-significant structural damage was uncovered during the home inspection. Kristi lead the negotiations to have the damage properly addressed. There were quite a few twists and turns to everything that was going on (through absolutely no fault of Kristi's), and many times along the way I thought that this was going to fall through. However, the end result was an agreement for a seller credit that we were extremely satisfied with. And that was just the latest and most important thing Kristi achieved for us. There were many smaller other steps and issues, and she guided us and helped us through it all. With a deep sense of gratitude to Kristi, we now have a wonderful new home, and we could not be happier. We enthusiastically recommend Kristi as a buyer's agent without any reservation whatsoever.
